HOW MUCH IS MY DRESS GOING TO COST?

Price is based on Height and Chest measurement as well as stitch count for heavily embroidered garments; please get in touch and we can give you an estimate.

HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?

The (non-refundable) deposit is £300 sterling for a solo dress, £100 for a waistcoat and £100 for a class costume. Please note orders are not placed until a deposit is received.

WHEN SHOULD I GET IN TOUCH?

It is never too early to chat to our team about your order, we are always happy to take questions and offer guidance especially if it is your first time ordering a custom made Irish dance dress. Our team can advise you on our special design consultation events in your area and also offer guidance on measurements and shipping schedules.

We are very busy at specific times of the years just ahead of major qualifying competitions and international championship events. We advise that you book for these busy times six months in advance if possible to secure your ideal shipping/completion date. Book early for January,March, April, October and November to avoid any additional worry.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Shauna and the team at Doire will always do their best to create a dress which is ordered as a special order in a short time scale provided we have availability, if you need a Special Order Dress completed in less than 6 weeks please feel free to get in touch!

 WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT METHODS?

We take PayPal, all major credit cards, cash, bank draft and bank transfer.

I AM UNSURE ABOUT THE DESIGN I WANT?

Our design team are very experienced and can offer you lots of advice. We will start with colour palettes to match skin tones and then move onto to developing a design folder for likes and dislikes to help build the vision of the dress together.

DO YOU HAVE A RANGE OF IRISH DANCE DRESSES FOR NOVICE DANCERS ?

Shauna fully appreciates the cost of having an Irish dancer in the family and so has relaunched the Gold range for 2019 with brand new designs. this range is keenly priced so that every dancer has the opportunity to step out in a quality tailor made dress by Doire Dress with Shauna Shiels.

The Gold range is a set collection of styles which allows you to create your look with a wide variety of colours and fabrics.There are four bodice designs available with interchangeable sleeves, skirts and collars to create a unique solo costume.

DO I NEED TO TRAVEL TO DERRY FOR A CONSULTATION?

No we have new ways to collaborate with our clients;

  • Online Consultation, using video conferencing  or you can send the details via email. We have a detailed measurement guide which is easy to follow.

  • In Store Consultation, Dancers are always welcome to travel to Derry, if you prefer for consultation

  • Special Design Consultation events. We arrange Design Consultation events throughout the year in Dublin, Galway, Manchester and we visit the USA.

HOW LONG IS IT BETWEEN CONSULTATION AND COMPLETION?

Usually 4-6 weeks, depending upon the time of year.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

International Shipping to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand is £90 sterling.
Domestic Shipping to the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom is £30 sterling.

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING USUALLY TAKE?

Shipping lead times are normally Next Day shipping to UK, 3 day shipping to USA, 4 day shipping to Australia and 4 day shipping to Canada.

ARE CRYSTALS INCLUDED?

No, crystals are priced separately to your dress or waistcoat. We will discuss this budget early in the design consultation so we can advise you of the cost. Dancers can add as few or as many as you like and we can advise you on sizes, colours and costs.

HOW MUCH IS A HEADPIECE?

A custom designed headpiece or hair band is included with each solo dress order. Let us know at design stage what you prefer.

DO I RECEIVE MATCHING KICK PANTS?

Yes, they come as standard.
